Lee Terry Talks on Both Sides of Issue 2/17/10 In
this interview, Terry claims that the jobs created by the stimulus should have been 2 or 3 times the 3800 supposed jobs
created here in Nebraska. In typical form, he leaves out any detail on how the Congress should have modified the stimulus
bill to do this. He only postures on how it should be better, but absolutely no detail. So let's ask
him how he could double or triple the effectiveness of the stimulus? How come this is the first time we've heard
that the stimulus is not effective? It's easy to criticize, but just like the health care debate, a day late and
a dollar short Congressman Terry. Terry also refuses to answer the question on whether or not Nebraska should have taken
the stimulus money. This pattern of dodging the hard questions after being elected to 6 terms in Congress is disturbing.
This is not strong leadership, this is a 'Washington' double-speak.
